It’s puzzling why WordPress has not put this feature into the core of WordPress, but many people want it. Most of our themes have this option, including both the free and pro version of Serifi.
This is what the archive prefix labels look like:

Although some people might want this, others do not. So, we made this available in this theme where you simply toggle the on/off switch.

- Go to Appearance > Customize > Label Options
- Look for the Hide Prefix in Archive Pages setting and toggle the switch to either enable or disable.
- Click the Publish button.
Once you enable to hide the prefix, you will only see the archive title. In the screenshot above, it would then hide Category: from the heading.
