Although we have touched based on thumbnail creation for our themes in the Common Setup tutorials, here is a quick recap for Serifi.
NOTE: Thumbnail options are available for Serifi Pro.
The function/feature of automatically creating thumbs for featured image uploads is going to be similar across most themes. The only exception is that the type of thumbnail being created may differ from theme to theme for size and for what parts of the theme.
Settings might also differ too. For example, you might encounter checkboxes or toggle switches (Serifi). I should also mention that thumbnail creation will also depend on whether you are using a free or pro version of a theme. Serifi pro has this feature.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Thumbnail Options
- Choose the thumbnails that you want to be created. It’s recommended to only enable the ones you need, otherwise, you end up with a ton of image copies filling your server disk space.
- Click the Publish button.
