Add a blog introduction

Glaciers gives you the option to create a custom blog title and introduction. By default, WordPress does not give you this option, with the exception of the category archive pages. Your heading group would look something like this:

The screenshot above shows what the welcome intro would look like. Also, instead of grabbing the author’s Gravatar, you can use the page featured image option. This lets you choose any photo or graphic that you would like as an intro avatar (optional, of course).

*Make sure you have this page already made before going to the intro settings.

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Blog Options
2. Look for the Page with a Blog Welcome Intro setting from the drop-down list.
3. Click the Publish button.
