WordPress’s default style for viewing archive pages is to have a prefix label. For example, categories have a prefix Category: in front of the category name.

With a Prefix Label

If you decide to show the prefix, we’ve added a colour setting to change the prefix to what you want. However, Empt does include the option to disable the prefix label.

  1. Go to Appearance > Blog Options
  2. Look for the Hide Prefix in Archive Page setting and click or slide the toggle setting to disable it. Blue means it’s disabled while grey means it’s active.
  3. Click Publish at the top of the customizer.
