WordPress’s default style for viewing archive pages is to have a prefix label. For example, categories have a prefix Category: in front of the category name.

Without a Prefix Label

If you decide to show the prefix, we’ve added a colour setting to change the prefix to what you want. However, Empt does include the option to disable the prefix label.
- Go to Appearance > Blog Options
- Look for the Hide Prefix in Archive Page setting and click or slide the toggle setting to disable it. Blue means it’s disabled while grey means it’s active.
- Click Publish at the top of the customizer.
