The Definite theme gives you the option to show or hide various blog summary elements:

  1. Go to the Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Blog Settings.
  2. Check the boxes next to each item under the Summary Show or Hide Elements section that you want to show or hide on the post or page.
  3. Click the Publish button.

The first option in the screenshot above shows a setting to Hide Archive Labels. By default, if you go to a blog category, you will see the title of the category, but in front of it is a prefix label Category: that shows.

WordPress adds a prefix to archive headings by default

Not pleasant to see this, so we gave you the option to hide that prefix label so it shows only the category title.
