The Definite theme includes a recent posts widget to display the most recent posts with thumbnails. The thumbnails are automatically generated from the featured image you upload for the post(s).
- Go to Appearance > Widgets
- Drag the Definite Recent Posts widget into the sidebar position you want to show it in.
- Title your widget
- Enter the number of posts to display
- Order posts by…
- Choose a category to display posts from
- Add tags (optional)
- Show or hide the post dates
- Click the Save button
