This tutorial will show you how to change your blog summaries to use excerpts instead. This is useful if you want a consistent look at your blog home page (and categories). Please note that using excerpts will remove all formatting and page elements from view. However, they will show up when you view the full post.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Blog Settings.
- Find the Blog Summary Type setting and select the Post Excerpt option.
- You can also change how many words to show for excerpts by adjusting the Excerpt Length setting to what you want.
- Click the Publish button.
