This will be the same for any menu that you create, as well as for both free and premium themes from Rough Pixels. We will also use the “classic” way of building menus.
To create menus, go to Appearance > Menus
- If you don’t have any menus, click the Create Menu text link to create a new menu.
- Name your menu
- From the Add Menu Items column on the left side select pages that you want to add in your menu. Click the
Add to Menubutton. You can add pages, posts, categories, and more. - Once you’ve added a few items to your menu, you will see the added menu items on the right side in the Menu Structure section. You can drag & drop your menus in any order that you want and by moving a menu item slightly to the right, you can make submenu links.
- At the bottom of the menu editor is a section for Menu Settings. Check the box next to the menu location where you want your menu to appear.
- Click the
Save Menubutton.
Each theme will have a different set of menu locations, but the method to make a menu will be the same.
