With this theme, you get a hidden search bar that is located at the very top. When you click on the magnifying glass icon from your social menu area, a search form in a modal window will be displayed.
Once you click on the search button, you get this modal popup/overlay:
From here, you can type in your keyword to search, as well, you can click the close X, or click anywhere outside of the popup to close it.
Disable the Search Modal
If you prefer to hide this search modal, you can do this from the customizer.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Other Options
- Look for the Hide the Popup Search setting and toggle the setting to hide it.
- Click the Publish button.
