Hide the Search Icon

With Alurra, we have an overlay search window that is activated when you click on a little search icon. This icon is only visible when you have a custom header image or cover image for posts.

If you decide this is distracting, you can disable this icon and just use the search widgets for the search capability.

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Other Options
  2. Look for the Hide the Header Search Icon setting and click or slide the toggle setting to disable it. Blue means it’s active (hiding the icon).
  3. Click the Publish button.
