Included with the Alurra Pro theme, you get Related Posts show up at the bottom area of posts.
Currently, you are shown two posts to give your reader a couple of additional articles to check out. If your posts have featured images, they will be displayed as a background.
There are several settings available:
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Post Options
- Look for the Related Posts group of settings.
- You can hide parts of the Related Posts elements by clicking on the toggles (they will become blue).
- The excerpts can also be controlled by moving the Excerpt Length slider. To reset, click the circle arrow icon at the end.
- Click the Publish button.
Related Post Thumbnails
One additional setting for Related Posts is to create your thumbnails.
When the above setting is enabled, Alurra will generate a 600×300 pixel thumbnail when uploading a featured image.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Thumbnail Options
- Look for the Miscellaneous Thumbnails group of settings.
- Enabled the Related Post Thumbnails toggle to turn blue.
- Click the Publish button.
