Depending on the license that you’ve purchased, you can add the following number of websites to a key:
Why is the License Key IMPORTANT? It allows you to receive valuable theme updates and ensures you also get access to premium support.
- Personal Monthly – You can add 1 website
- Personal Year – You can add 1 website
- Personal Lifetime – You can add up to 5 websites
- All Access – You can add up to 50 websites
Adding Your Key to Get Theme Updates!
You have a couple of ways to add your license key to websites. The first is when you install the theme (or the plugin version) and activate it:
For example, we will use our Serifi pro theme (which is a plugin). In your website’s dashboard, go to Plugins > Serifi License
You will then enter the license key for your plugin-based pro theme and click the Save Changes (First) and then you will click the Activate License (Second).
The idea here is that we first enter a license key and click “Save Changes”, which causes the license key to be stored in our plugin/theme options. Once the option is stored, we click the “Activate License” button to activate it–and then you are all set!
If everything runs correctly after clicking the “Activate License” button, the activate button will be replaced with the word “active”.
From within your dashboard, this will be similar to the pro versions of themes (non-plugin based). The only exception is that instead of being under the Plugins link, you will find it under the Appearance > Themes link.
Manually Adding Websites for Your License Key
For this, you will need to log into the Rough Pixels website.
Go to Members > Account Details
Or, go to Members > Purchase History
Scroll down to the License Keys section and click on the Manage Sites link:
If you purchased either the Personal Monthly or the Personal Year membership, you get one website license key. Simply enter the full URL of your website where this theme will be used and click the Add Site button.
If you purchase the Personal Lifetime or All Access membership, you can add from 5 to 50 websites (respectively).
